Photogenic thunderstorms in southern Sydney

Situation

A southerly change acted as a trigger for storms along the coast in a moist and unstable atmosphere.

The following are a few shots from a cricket ground we had just vacated in Taren Point in the southern suburbs of Sydney. The panorama is a bit flawed - I was still getting the hang of a new camera when it was taken.

The gustfront trailing off to the south. It appears to be a double gust front.

Looking towards the core of the storm.
A panorama of the double gustfront. Shortly after this shot the rain curtain arrived and any view of the storm was lost.
